This committee is responsible for the relationship of the pastoral and lay staff to the congregation and the congregation to the pastoral and lay staff. This committee assumes the responsibility for setting salaries and other benefits for all employees. It encourages and provides for the program of continuing education and other areas of compensation. It works in consultation with the Board of Trustees for providing adequate parsonages (housing) for the pastors. In the event a vacancy occurs within the pastoral or lay staff, the committee works in consultation with the District Superintendent and Bishop for the appointment of a pastor to fill the vacancy of the Pastor, and interviews candidates to fill lay vacancies. The SPRC committee meets monthly. This committee also manages the church membership database.
